10th Annual Southern Magnolia 100---October 1st  , 2017



The Southern Magnolia is getting closer and closer.  We will continue to register riders right up until the event. 
Here are some important dates to remember.

September 9th--- Practice ride for the Southern Magnolia ,
You are invited to come out and join us as we ride the course. We will have 2 rest stops along with a store. 
We will leave the Success Community Center at 7 am. The community center is located at 12361 School Road, Saucier , Ms 39574. There is a $5.00 registration fee to help cover the cost of rest stop supplies. All distances available to ride. 

September 10th -- This is the last day you will be able to register and be guaranteed to get your finishers T-shirt or jacket and medal on the day of the event.
Anyone who registers after the 10th will have these items mailed to them after the Southern Magnolia. The 10th is also the deadline for jackets. Everyone who registers after the 10th will receive the long sleeve t-shirt for all distances .

The Gulf Coast Bicycle Club (GCBC) invites you to join us on Sunday, October 1, 2017, for the 10th Annual Southern Magnolia 100. This fully-supported bicycle ride offers routes for all skill levels and distances ranging from 12 miles,  25 miles, 40 miles, Metric Century, and Century. This year in celebration of our 10th year of the Southern Magnolia, we are offering the ultimate challenge- the Ultra distance of 116 miles.

The first 100 riders to register will get a free pair of custom made Southern Magnolia cycling socks. The first 300 to register will get a Southern Magnolia Swag Bag full of goodies that all cyclist need. As always, after crossing the finish line, all riders of all distances will get the custom made Southern Magnolia Medal. 

*New this year- All riders of the 12, 25, & 40 mile distances will receive a Long Sleeve Finishers T-shirt. All riders of the Metric Century, the Century & the Ultra will get a beautiful  Finishers Hoodie-created especially for this event. 

Note: This is a "Finishers Hoodie" that signifies your amazing accomplishment. You must cross the finish line after completing at least the distance of the Metric Century (62 Miles) to earn this hoodie!  

You must be registered before September 10th to get your long sleeve shirt or hoodie on the day of the event. All those who register after the 10th will only receive the long sleeve shirt which will be mailed after the event. 
Once again, you MUST register before September 10th to be eligible for the Hoodie.



*For safety reasons no headphones will be allowed during the ride. Also, those who are doing the Metric Century should be able to average 14 mph. Those doing the Century or Ultra should be able to average 16 mph. Helmets Required.


Online registration is available through 9/28/17.
Participants may also register at packet pick-up registration. The fee to register at packet pick-up will be $45 for members and $50 for non-members. You may also register on the day of the event. 
The registration fee will be the same for all riders, $60.
